Day 21: Oct. 21, 2009

Ok after yesterday's workout I can feel chin splints coming on. My legs are worn but I feel like I have a lot of energy. Good things are about to happen with my diet/workout program. I am going to weigh myself after today to see how much I have dropped in 21 days!!!

    20 min of interval sprints on the treadmill
    -1:30 of easy jog at level 5
    -1:30 of a nice run at level 8

    -1:30 of a nice sprint at level 8
    -1:30 of speed walking at level 5
    P90x Shoulder & Arms
    0I completed 2 sets of each in about 45mins.

    This workout was very difficult. Mainly because I knew that I probably wouldn’t find time later tonight to workout because my fiancĂ© and I were hosting our church missionaries for dinner. I really felt good on the treadmill as I upped the intensity and felt great. I burned a total of 220 calories in 20 mins! After that I jumped on the P90 and mashed that out in 40mins. One thing I have noticed about my workouts is that I tend to pick up the pace now that I am doing insanity. P90 just seems to have too many “long” breaks in between so I find myself skipping the breaks and keeping on with the workouts. This was very intense and I felt great after wards!

  4. Lunch: 12:30 pm
    So I forgot my lunch!! Luckily my friend brought in some tuna and cottage cheese. It was very tasty but felt like a snack more than a meal so I had double the portions. Sorry Jay for eating all of your food :)

    Ok so this is not as bad as it looks. We had the missionaries over for dinner and did not have time to cook. So we bought some KFC but kept the Chicken Grilled. I had 3 pieces of chicken and tore off all of the skin. It was a little greesy but I tried to soak it up as much as I could with napkins.

  8. Weigh in:
    Ok so Oct 1, 2009 I weighed in at 229.1 pounds. Up to this point I am happy to say that I have lost 19 pounds as I (unofficially) weighed in at 210.1 pounds. This is a huge accomplishment and I am so happy. Man to think that in 21 days I lost 19 pounds with no supplements but straight dieting and old fashion hard sweat workouts is truly amazing!
