Day 23: Oct. 23, 2009

Woke up this morning tired and fatigued. I was also not in a good mood because I couldn't get in my second workout yesterday but it was for good reasons. After work my younger sister had her birthday party so we had to go celebrate that. Try celebrating a birthday without going all out on the sweet things in life (food wise :) It is not fun but for this competition it is going to be worth it.

Day 22: Oct. 22, 2009

Ready to take on this full day of Yoga. I first have insanity's version of it which is mixed with some cardio and then tonight I have P90x's version which is all about strength and balance. Can you say a total of 2 hours and 10 mins of stretching and balance? This is going to be crazy!!!

Day 21: Oct. 21, 2009

Ok after yesterday's workout I can feel chin splints coming on. My legs are worn but I feel like I have a lot of energy. Good things are about to happen with my diet/workout program. I am going to weigh myself after today to see how much I have dropped in 21 days!!!

Day 20: Oct. 20, 2009

Feeling a little tired but ready to take on a very busy day. Today's workout are going to be so tough but I'm ready for them....let's get this thing going!!!

Day 19: Oct. 19, 2009

Today is the day that I get back on track COMPLETELY! I am ready to be more dedicated with no shortcuts. I feel good and ready to workout! Let's Go!!!

Day 17and 18

Ok so the first weekend was a bust. Although I didn't let go completely I found it difficult to stick with my plan. Ugggh I felt like a loser but hey sometimes you just gotta go camping and fishing. Saturday morning and afternoon I did well with my diet but when the evening hit and my friends wanted to go fishing and after we didn't catch anything I was left with an option to starve or eat at a Mexican restaurant. I controlled my portions but felt guilty and disappointed for not preparing better.

Sunday wasn't too bad. I stuck with the diet all the way into the evening when we had our church missionaries over for dinner. My fiance cooked some really good lasagna. Once again I controlled my portions but did let go a little by having two chocolate chip cookies.

Ok now that I got that weekend out of my system and know what not to do and what to prepare for. I look forward to this coming weekend to stick to my diet. I know that this competition is going to come down to who can stay disciplined over the course of the week but more importantly over the weekend.

Day 16 - Optimistic

Ok so yesterday was extremely busy for me. I had a ton of things come up after work like talking to the Tuxedo Shop and trying to figure out how I am going to get 13 men fitted for a wedding and find a way that it can be economical for everyone...ugghhh. Then when I got home the missionaries came over and met with us for an hour and gave a great lesson on tithing. I then had to run to Wal-Mart to buy some jumper cables because my truck would not start then go home and give it a jump. After all said and done it was almost 10pm and too late to do my p90x yoga. So to all of you that were hoping to see me complete this 100% I am sorry to say that I cannot say that is possible right now. However, I am optimistic and I know I will be ok. I am ready for this morning's workout. I feel refreshed and energized to get er done! Here we go!!!!!!!!
